2018

• In 2018 Pride Productions began its first media partnership with Worcester Magazine.
• PPI began its first local programming Talk of the Commonwealth with Hank Stolz and relocated its broadcasting studio from Becker College (Worcester Campus) to downtown Worcester, MA.
• PPI applies for a new application to the FCC on behalf of Unity Radio WUTY 102.9 FM to increase radio station power and was approved to operate Unity Radio WUTY 97.9 FM.
• PPI creates the Alliance Media Group (AMG) youth technical program. The AMG mission is to collaborate with area companies, educational institutions and organizations to benefit our community while serving the young adult population by developing and implementing media and technology programs and services throughout Central Massachusetts.
• PPI’s  AMG was awarded a grant from the Best Buy Foundation. Best Buy Foundation provides funding to equitable, innovative, impact-driven programs in eligible non-profit organizations committed to enhancing the lives of teens 13 – 18 years old through cutting-edge technology-enabled curricula.
• PPI was awarded the Game Changer Award at the Game Changers Business Conference held at Mechanics Hall presented by the Worcester Chamber of Commerce. It introduces innovators, investors and developers who are funding disrupting and supporting the regions start ups and entrepreneurs.

2017

• In 2017 Pride Productions, Inc. successfully obtained the FCC license to operate a Low Power FM (“LPFM”) radio station, on air WUTY 102.9 FM Worcester and streaming at WUTY.org.
• PPI also hosted its first golf fundraiser, “Raise Power to the Tower”, to support the construction of the on air WUTY 102.9 FM broadcast radio tower.
• PPI had its first on air broadcast featuring the city wide political elections from the Worcester City Hall.

2015

• In 2015, Pride Productions, Inc. received a grant from the Blackstone Valley Chamber of Commerce, through the Massachusetts Growth Capital Corporation Technical Assistance Grant Program. Their financial support played a vital role in helping PPI secure the Backbone Radio network software and begin the Internet radio broadcast/operation of Unity Radio, (WUTY.org).
• In addition, PPI was able to establish it’s first high school partnership, including the creation of RAMS radio at Northbridge High School in Northbridge, MA.

2013

• Pride Productions, Inc. relocates it’s operations and collaborates with Becker College (Worcester, MA campus).
• The partnership is designed to establish a new TV studio and provide Audio/Video production to support on/off campus media projects.
• In 2013, PPI applied for the license operation of a Low Power FM (“LPFM”) radio station. In pursuing its goal of serving the “public interest,” the station will adopt an alternative programming format not otherwise available in the immediate broadcast area.

2010

Began a partnership with children’s book publishing company, Christa Tales. Story themes focus on healthy living and eating, physical fitness and financial education.

2009

• Pride Productions, Inc. continued its series of Youth Job Fairs through the support of United Parcel Service (UPS).
• Pride Productions, Inc. and UPS collaborated on several job fairs hosted at Pride Productions, Inc. which attracted over 900 local youth seeking employment opportunities.
• In addition, UPS provided corporate volunteers toward the expansion and renovation improvements of Pride Productions’ new facility.

2008

• The High School Health Careers Program (HSHCP) is a four-week, tuition-free, day program. It offers current sophomore and junior high school students unique opportunities to learn about the broad spectrum of careers in Biomedical Research, Biotechnology and the health professions (BBHP).
• It is designed to improve academic study and communication skills of the participants. Pride Productions, Inc. provided tutorial in media and communications enrichment. Pride Productions, Inc. created a video resume featuring each participant performing their goals and aspirations in the medical field.
• The final video project was shown at the closing ceremonies of the program.

2007

• Introduced, the expansion of the Youth Unity television series with Youth In Politics (YIP): It began as a youth political TV program designed as a vehicle for youth to discuss topics and issues that affect their daily lives and issues that are important to them.
• It is also a natural progression to continue youth involvement in quality civic engagement in local government.

2006

• Introduced Pride Career Academy. Pride Productions, Inc. in collaboration with Henkels & McCoy Training Services, provides much needed out of school training opportunities for young men and women at the Community Access Technology Center (CATC). The model program focuses on the delivery of basic skills (reading & math) enhancements.
• Launched the Worcester Youth Marketing Group through the Multimedia Clubhouse funded by a donation to the city from Saint Vincent Hospital. This project resulted in the creation of jobs for youth who are Worcester residents in the field of the multimedia and technology.

2005

Relocated and expanded to the Denholm Building in Worcester, and introduced Cyber Connection, a program that delivered technical and vocational training for the Worcester community.

2004

Named one of 12 recipients awarded a grant from the SNI Jobs for Youth program. With the grant, Pride Productions was able to employ 24 Worcester Public School students over the course of 26 weeks to host and produce Youth Unity.

2001

Pride Productions expanded the Multimedia Clubhouse and opened the Community Access Technology Center at the Worcester Common Outlets mall.

1999

Pride Productions, Inc. introduced the Multimedia Clubhouse (MMC) located at the Boys and Girls Club of Worcester. The MMC hosted youth multimedia training activities and produced the youth talk show Youth Unity.
